AN AFTERNOON IN DUMBO, NEW YORK

Posted on 23 June 2009 by Claudia Sandoval

This afternoon I had this workshop about Grants for Arts, organized for New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) at its brand new office in Dumbo. The workshop was wonderfully presented by Christa Blatchford, the Program officer and it was full of good ideas and resources. I will be back next week for the second session. For now you can use the NYFA Artists Source to begin your search for grants and great information about organizations, programs and fellowships.

Also in my way to the NYFA headquarters I found myself walking around very interesting pieces of street art. The most amazing C215. ( the guy on the black door and on the side of a wall) Enjoy!
